COLUMBUS PARKS

• Columbus City Park - The main park in Columbus is a 22-acre park located on both sides of Kettle River Boulevard by the City Hall complex. Amenities in this park include four ballfields with backstops, players' benches and bleachers. It also has a football/soccer field, a double tennis court, a t-ball field, a picnic shelter, a beautiful wooded picnic area with grills and tables, benches and ample parking. This park has a 3/4-mile paved walking path throughout the park.
• Hidden Park - Nestled in the neighborhood of 162nd Ave, this park is a 1.9-acre neighborhood park and contains a 4-seat swing set, a bike rack, a 1/2 court basketball court, a picnic table and a bench.

 

City Park Tennis & Pickleball Courts Reopen

The City of Columbus is pleased to announce the reopening of the City Park tennis and pickleball courts following the completion of a significant reconstruction and resurfacing project. The improvements are part of the City's ongoing commitment to maintaining and enhancing recreational amenities for residents.

The project was included in the City's Capital Improvement Plan as an investment in park infrastructure and recreational opportunities. Construction included a complete resurfacing of the courts, new color coating, and updated striping to accommodate both tennis and pickleball play. The renovated facility now features two courts, including one court striped to accommodate two pickleball courts, providing flexible use for multiple recreational activities.

Residents are encouraged to visit the newly renovated courts and enjoy the improved playing surface throughout the season. The project is another example of the City's continued investment in parks, recreation, and quality-of-life improvements that benefit the entire Columbus community.

You may send in your reservation with the required amount due or you may bring the completed reservation form to the City Hall.
