PUBLIC HEARING - City Code amendment pertaining to the regulation of discharge of firearms and deer hunting within the City of Columbus.

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Columbus City Council on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as parties may be heard. The hearing will be conducted in person and by Interactive Technology at the Columbus City Hall located at 16319 Kettle River Blvd., Columbus, Minnesota to consider a City Code amendment to Article III, Section 15 to include regulations pertaining to the discharge of firearms and deer hunting within the City of Columbus. Members of the public interested in attending in person, monitoring the meeting, or wanting more information, should contact the City Offices at 651-464-3120 or visit the City Website at ColumbusMN.gov. The hearing shall continue until all evidence and testimony has been received.
